Giant Eagle looking to hire more than 800 employees across Northeast Ohio

The company is holding socially distanced hiring events, March 15 - 19.

Are you or is someone you know in search of a job? Giant Eagle is looking to hire more than 800 employees across the Greater Cleveland, Akron and Canton areas. 

As grocery store workers maintain their roles as vital essential workers amid the ongoing pandemic, Giant Eagle says it remains committed to serving its community. 

From March 15 through March 19, several locations will host socially distanced hiring events where perspective candidates will meet with recruiters and have the opportunity for same-day job offers. 

All event participants will be required to wear a mask or other face covering.  

"Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic the company has put numerous precautions in place to ensure a safe and healthy working environment, including providing personal protective equipment, installing plexiglass dividers at primary points of guest interaction, and increasing the frequency of sanitization of all common areas and shared surfaces," the company said in a press release.

Available full-time and part-time positions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Personal Shopper
  • Home Delivery Services
  • Deli and prepared food clerks
  • Cashiers
  • Bakery Team  Members

The grocery store chain offers a variety of benefits including flexible scheduling, competitive wages, paid training, advancement opportunities, and paid time off.
