"Baking Bad":'' how a baker is helping inmates, Indians game surprise, and help for stranded pets: It's All Good News

Get ready for another round of nothing but happy, uplifting stories to make you smile.

CLEVELAND — It's a new week, and a new chance to smile. Here is your weekly dose of happy!

First up- a surprise for a Cleveland family. We first introduced you to the Longville family in 2020. 12 of them are frontline workers- everything from nurses to firefighters. TODAY Show anchor Al Roker surprised the family to thank them for all their hard work, but it's not just the family who got to go to an Indians game. Watch to find out what happened!

Speaking of surprises, you have to see how a Georgia elementary school janitor was thanked for his hard work. This gift, will make getting to and from his job much easier.

Hurricane Ida had displaced many, and that includes animals! But help is on the way! We'll show you how much supplies is on its way to Louisiana.

And, you've heard of the show Breaking Bad- this next story, we're calling Baking Bad. One English baker is redefining the futures of former inmates, and giving them a shot at a successful career, one loaf of bread at at time. Watch the video to see how Matt Fountain is using his baking skills to help others.
