Avery Dennison expanding Painesville manufacturing facility, hiring for at least 25 new full time positions

The company will break ground on a 32,000 square foot expansion in September 2021.

On Monday evening, Avery Dennison Performance Tapes announced that it plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Painesville, generating 25 new full-time jobs in the coming months. 

According to a release sent to 3News, the company will break ground on the 32,000 square foot expansion in September 2021 with plans to wrap up construction in mid-2022. The expansion is in partnership with JobsOhio, Team NEO and the City of Painesville.

"Avery Dennison is a long-time employer in Northeast Ohio,” Flannery says. “We are extremely excited for our continuing involvement as a good neighbor and an important part of the community’s economic vitality.”

The City of Painesville and JobsOhio have also set aside grant money for job training and other project expenses, contingent upon the hiring of more than 25 full-time positions. 

“As one of the City’s largest employers, we are excited to see this investment and commitment by Avery Dennison in Painesville,” said Painesville Economic Development Director Cathy Bieterman. “The City has been collaborating with their leadership team to improve infrastructure around their facility and provide development support. They are a great community partner, and we look forward to continuing to grow our community relationship for many more years to come.”
