US Postal Service to host job fairs at 34 Northeast Ohio post offices this Saturday

The starting salary to work for the U.S. Postal Service as a city carrier assistant is $19.33 per hour.

CLEVELAND — Need a job? The United States Postal Service (USPS) will be holding job fairs at 34 post office locations throughout Cleveland and Cuyahoga County this Saturday, May 20. The job fairs will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

The USPS is looking to fill immediate openings for city carrier assistants. The starting salary is $19.33 per hour.

Applications will be accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers. USPS personnel will be on site at the Saturday fairs to provide detailed information about the available positions and to answer your questions. 

The USPS says applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays and have an acceptable driving record. They offer "competitive wages, benefits, and career advancement opportunities."
