Browns Backer delivers 2,000 stuffed animals for children at MetroHealth

The campaign is now in its 27th year

The holidays were made a bit more special children at MetroHealth Medical Center on Monday thanks to the great people at Ogre's Bears for Burns.

Around 2,000 stuffed animals were delivered by truck and will now be bringing comfort to the children at MetroHealth's Hospital Child Life Center and Pediatric ICU and Burn Unit.

The campaign is now in its 27th year and is organized by Browns Backer Matt "Ogre" Whaley, who himself is a burn victim.

Bears for Burns fundraisers were held at Stadium Grill and Hooley House, both in Mentor. The Burnt River Browns Backers organization of Mentor is also a supporter of the campaign.
