MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A Madison Township man is facing charges for possession of child pornography following an undercover investigation by the Geauga County Sheriff's Office.
William H. McFadden IV, 35, is charged with one count of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a second-degree felony.
According to the Geauga County Prosecutor's Office, investigators found that a computer in McFadden's home was making child porn available for download online.
McFadden admitted to downloading and viewing child porn in an interview with detectives. He was arraigned Monday and bond was set at $50,000.
The prosecutor's office says McFadden is a Tier 3 sexual predator. In 2007, he was convicted of two counts of rape and attempted rape involving a 10-year-old boy and a girl between the ages of 9 and 12. He was sentenced to eight years behind bars and was released in February 2015.
