Curbside meals on wheels available to Lake County senior citizens

The Mentor Senior Center is closed, but meals are available.

MENTOR, Ohio — The senior center in Mentor is closed to the public until further notice to the COVID-19 crisis.

Mentor officials want to ensure that no senior citizen goes hungry, so curbside pick up is being offered to Lake County senior citizens.

The meals are made from scratch and cost $4.50 per meal.

Reservations must be made before noon the day before pick-up by calling 440-974-5725 or online and must be paid with a credit card.

Pick-up time will be between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. Pick-up will be on the Munson Road side of the Mentor Senior Center.

Recipients must show a receipt. A volunteer will get meals and deliver them to the car.

Meal choices will be posted on Friday of each week.
