17-year-old boy killed in Lorain County ATV accident

Sheriff's deputies do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — Lorain County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an ATV accident that took the life of a 17-year-old boy in Carlisle Township on Friday.

According to Lt. Joshua Croston, the accident happened just after 6:00 p.m. in the 13000 block of Whitehead Road on private property. The teen was rushed to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center, where he later died. 

Sheriff's deputies do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
