The driver of a car that fatally struck a Lorain woman has been identified.
41-year-old Delmar Board was driving a white 1995 Chevrolet Suburban in Sheffield Township when he struck 49-year-old Roslyn Arroyo as she walked eastbound on SR 254. Arroyo was transported to a local hospital where she later died.
At the time of the accident, Board fled the scene. Officials, with the help of the community,media and other law enforcement agencies were able to identify Board.
The crash remains under investigation but once complete the report will be forwarded to the Lorain County Prosecutors Office for review and consideration of charges.
