Fire officials in Lorain are investigating after the playground equipment at Palm Elementary School broke out into flames on Wednesday.
The Lorain Fire Department was called to the scene at approximately 5:20 p.m. No one was injured in the fire, but the playground is a total loss.
Lorain City Councilman Angel Arroyo captured images of the fire and posted the following on social media.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
