ELYRIA, Ohio — The Lorain County Sheriff's Office has announced that retired K-9 Brix passed away on Wednesday night.
Brix was 13-years-old.
Brix served the sheriff's department with Deputy Adam Trifiletti from January 2012 until he was retired in August of 2018.
Deputy Trifiletti purchased Brix from the county when Brix retired.
Brix lived out the rest of his life as a loyal member of the Trifiletti family.
