VERMILION, Ohio — A Vermilion family is still searching for its beloved dog after she went missing during a house fire nearly a month ago.
Shelby, a German Shepherd, ran from her Roanoke Drive home during a fire June 8. Police have worked with Remi's Pet Recovery to find Shelby, but have not been able to capture her.
On Tuesday, police said there hasn't been a reported sighting of Shelby in five days. Police had been receiving several sightings of Shelby, warning the public not to approach her as she is skittish.
Anyone who spots Shelby should call Vermilion police at 440-967-6116.
