CLEVELAND — On Lunch Break with Jay Crawford on Thursday, Jay and 3News’ Betsy Kling are talking over Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi calling for articles of impeachment to be drafted against President Donald Trump and a record-breaking cannon ball run by Twinsburg’s own Doug Tabbutt (who runs a company there called SwitchCars).

Tabbutt and his co-drivers, Arne Toman and Berkeley Chadwick, averaged 103 miles per hour with a top speed of 193 mph, to make it from New York to Los Angeles in 27 hours and 25 minutes, beating the previous record of 28 hours and 50 minutes.

We’ll also take at actor Anna Faris’s (“Scary Movie,” “Just Friends”) terrifying close call with carbon monoxide poisoning, GM’s plans to hire over 1,000 new workers at a new battery-cell production facility in Lordstown and Cleveland’s Newburgh Heights going to a 32-hour work week while keeping salaries at the same 40-hour rate.

Digital anchor Stephanie Haney shares what’s trending in Cleveland today, including a very specific casting call for the Russo brothers’ film, “Cherry,” a holiday tree topper featuring Myles Garrett in the middle of the incident which landed him off the field for at least the rest of this NFL season and how Los Angeles Laker LeBron James blatantly traveled in last night’s win over the Utah Jazz, but none of the officials seemed to notice.

Ashleigh Clark, Owner of Ashleigh Clark Interior Design Group, will also be stopping by the studio to show us how to throw the best possible holiday party, with one drink that will please a crowd, holiday games and a festive table setting.

Ashleigh’s “Jingle Juice” recipe calls for one bottle of whipped vodka, one bottle of sparkling rose, 1-2 liters of Cherry 7up, cranberries and rosemary to set it off.
