CLEVELAND — On Thursday’s Lunch Break with Jay Crawford, we’re chewing on tonight’s Cleveland Browns versus Pittsburgh Steelers games, all of the girl power at the Country Music Awards, a disclaimer on some Disney+ content and mandatory drug testing at a private high school.

The CMA’s were hosted on Wednesday night by Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, and the show opened with a medley Women in Country” performance featuring the hosts and several other female country stars.

The opening number featured iconic country songs that span decades and ended with “Independence Day” by Martina McBride. We're talking about the show and the unique way Jennifer Nettles made a plea for "equal play."

And as it gets colder, in an effort to heat things up around here we’re showing you three ways to spruce up your hot chocolate with Khristen Logan of Pheonix Coffee, a Cleveland-based specialty coffee roastery and café.

Jay is lunching with 3News’ Alexa Lee and the two will be joined by digital anchor Stephanie Haney.
