The Brunswick Police Department, in collaboration with the Brunswick School District, are offering a reward for information leading to the conviction and arrest of the person or people responsible for a series of bomb threats.

The District has received three separate bomb threats in 2021, against Brunswick Middle and Memorial Elementary Schools. The Middle School was threatened on February 10 and March 12, while Memorial Elementary received a threat on March 22.

While all of the threats were found to be non-credible and no devices were located, the incidents caused "great disruption" to the students, faculty and staff working to maintain a conducive learning environment.

"The safety of our community is paramount," the Police department said in a press release Friday.

The investigation into the threats remains ongoing. Officials are working with local and federal agencies in an effort to solve the crime.

The organizations are offering $1,500 for information on the bomb threat suspect or suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detective Bureau at the Brunswick Division of Police at (330) 225-9111.
