138 books and DVDs have been stolen from the Wadsworth Public Library, officials with the facility confirm.
The items were originally due on April 25, but the issue was not brought to the attention of the library until a month later. The total value of the stolen property is roughly $5,100.
The library also says the card used was created just two days prior to them being checked out. They believe this is a case of identity theft.
The Wadsworth Police Department is investigating.
