LIST: The best Northeast Ohio restaurants to get takeout from this St. Patrick's Day

Corned beef? Irish egg rolls? Northeast Ohio has got it!

CLEVELAND — Hard to believe, but Wednesday marks the second St. Patrick's Day to occur during the COVID-19 pandemic.

While many restaurants and bars are open in Northeast Ohio for in-person dining, many patrons still aren't ready to eat indoors. If you want to get in the spirit of the holiday and eat some of the best corned beef and fixings in our area while supporting local, takeout is a great option. 

Below, you will find a list of some of our favorite places around Cleveland to get your fix of St. Patrick's Day food. 

Downtown Cleveland

Flannery's Pub (323 Prospect Ave E, Cleveland, OH 44115): Open at 11 a.m. until supplies last, Flannery's is limiting take-out to groups of four. Call ahead at (216) 781-7782.

The Harp: (4408 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113): The Irish restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is offering curbside pickup for guests. They are requesting that anyone who would like to carry out call ahead at (216) 939-0200.


Karl's Inn of the Barristers (1264 W 3rd St, Cleveland, OH 44113): The Warehouse District restaurant will open its doors at 6 a.m. on Wednesday to hungry Northeast Ohioans looking to get their fix of classic St. Patrick's Day foods. Call ahead at (216) 241-4141 or pick-up the day of. 

Slyman's Tavern (3106 St Clair Ave NE, Cleveland, OH 44114): Famous for their corned beef sandwiches, Slyman's Tavern will be open for pick-up only from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Call (216) 621-3760.

Stone Mad Pub (1306 West 65th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44102): The 'pub will be open from noon to midnight a special menu for the holiday. Call ahead at (216) 281-6500.

East-side

Corky & Lenny's (27085 Chagrin Blvd, Woodmere, OH 44122): Often called "one of the best delis in Cleveland," you will not want to miss out on Corky & Lenny's corned beef this year. The deli is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and will only be allowing takeout in-person.

Craggy Boglands (4857 Robinhood Dr, Willoughby, OH 44094): The Irish pub will open at 7 a.m. for people to get their hands on orders of their corned beef and Celtic egg rolls! They are accepting call ahead (440) 946-8250, and walk-in orders.

Slyman's Tavern Orange (4009 Orange Pl, Orange, OH 44122) & Slyman's Tavern Mentor (7601 Mentor Ave Suite B, Mentor, OH 44060): You can also get a Slyman's fix if you live on the east side! Heads up, though, the restaurant will only be taking in-person orders today and tomorrow. Call (216) 292-9610 with any questions.

West-side

Greenisland Restaurant (25517 Eaton Way, Bay Village, OH 44140): Open from 5 a.m. to midnight, the restaurant will have a dedicated St. Patrick's Day menu with corned beef dinner and sandwiches. Call ahead at (440) 455-9086 or walk-in for takeout. 

Public House (17219 Lorain Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44111): Corned beef, reubens, Irish egg rolls, and grilled cheese for the kiddos. The Kamm's Corner restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. for pickup or call ahead at (216) 252-6608.

Murphy's Law (5303 Memphis Ave, Cleveland, OH 44144): The restaurant will be serving classic Irish foods from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. via pick-up. They are accepting call ahead at (216) 741-1088, and walk-in orders as well.
