American Red Cross offering $10 gift cards for blood donations amid shortage; full list of Northeast Ohio blood drives

CLEVELAND — After experiencing "a concerning shortfall in blood and platelet donations" in May, the American Red Cross is offering an extra incentive to those who donate blood in June.

According to a release, those who donate in June will receive a $10 gift card by email to a merchant of their choice. Additionally, donors will automatically be entered for a chance to win a backyard theater package.
