Cuyahoga Valley National Park hosting pop-up weddings this summer

Wedding dates are available at the park through September.

PENINSULA, Ohio — There's a new, stress-free way for local couples to get married during this pandemic.

Pop-up weddings!

The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park is hosting these small, intimate, ready-to-go weddings throughout the summer.

Couples exchange vows surrounded by the beautiful natural park scenery. You just show up, be already dressed and ready to say 'I do,' and the park takes care of the rest.

"We want to be really careful," says Alexis Korczynski, Marketing Director for the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. "We want to make sure everyone who is coming into this ceremony is safe, all of our employees are safe. We're limiting it to 20 guests, including officiant, photographer and couple."

The pop-up wedding package is $1,800, which also includes a wedding cake and decorated venue. Wedding dates are available at the park through September.
