When you think of romantic destinations, images of Paris, Rome or Fiji likely come to mind. But have you ever considered Youngstown, Ohio as a spot for sparks?

According to an Elite Singles study, Youngstown is among the top 25 romantic cities in the U.S. The Northeast Ohio town ranked 20th overall, and was considered the most romantic city in Ohio.

While Youngstown may not have the same scenic views as Florida's beaches or California's wine country, the study says Youngstown has singles who consider themselves to be romantic.

The study collected anonymous user data from 150,000 people using Elite Singles. Responses to the question, "I bring romance to my relationship" were compiled. The more strongly people agreed with the statement, the more romantic they were considered to be.

Elite Singles gave an average score for romance in each city, then determined a list of top 25 rankings. Boynton Beach, Florida ranked first overall, ahead of second-place Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and third-place Cypress, California.
