ERIE COUNTY, Ohio — A 21-year-old man is dead following a truck crash in Northeast Ohio Saturday morning.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Clyde native Brian P. Wilkerson was operating his Dodge Ram 1500 pickup on Barrett Road in Margaretta Township when he went off the street and hit a tree near Newberry Avenue. The incident occurred around 6 a.m.
Wilkerson was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say he was wearing his seat belt, but the exact cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
