A 21-year-old was shot early Sunday morning near Ohio State's campus, Columbus Police confirm.
According to reports, the victim was in the parking lot of the McDonald's located at 1972 Hight Street around 1: 30 a.m., when a suspect fired several gunshots before fleeing the scene.
The victim, identified as 21-year-old Wesley Powers Jr., was struck in the thigh. He was transported to OSU Hospital in stable condition.
Despite several witnesses at the scene, an accurate description of the suspect was not provided.
