Fostering Hope Ohio uses donations to help to ease transitions for children in foster care

Today is Cyber Monday and tomorrow is Giving Tuesday so if you still have some online shopping to do, here's a great way to do both.

Today is Cyber Monday and tomorrow is Giving Tuesday so if you still have some online shopping to do, here's a great way to do both. Why not help the lives of kids in foster care?

This #GivingTuesday consider adding Foster kids to your gift list. WKYC-TV is proud to partner with Fostering Hope Ohio to help kids transitioning into or through Foster care.

Often when they need to move, they put all of their belongings in a garbage bag. Fostering Hope Ohio started the Journey Bag Wish List on Amazon to provide them with a duffel bag and other items to make that transition a little easier and more dignified.

For a look at the complete wish list, click here.

All nine items requested total about $135, but you can buy whatever fits your budget. You can send it directly to Fostering Hope Ohio located at 3737 Lander Road WADE Administration Bldg Cleveland, OH 44124 or ship it to your home, add a few more items and personal touches and drop it off here at WKYC and we’ll deliver it for you. You also have the option of having Amazon ship it to us at WKYC-TV 1333 Lakeside Ave. Cleveland, 44114.

Fostering Hope Ohio will organize contents in the bags to fit kids of certain ages. Just a reminder, we’re also collecting for Coats for Kids.

We hope you remember kids in need this #GivingTuesday and throughout the holiday season.
