MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio — As Ohioans are descending in droves to polling locations across the state on this Election Day, a scary situation unfolded in Miami County.

According to reports, a woman crashed her car into the Board of Elections Office in Miami County, Tuesday afternoon.

The woman is okay and was still able to cast her ballot, reported Secretary of State Frank LaRose.

In a tweet, LaRose also pointed out that voting was not impacted by the accident. He went on to thank the staff at the polling location saying, " Thanks to everyone at the @MiamiOHBOE for their quick work in handling a challenging situation."

The crash left a wall of the building cracked, however, no other injuries were reported. A polling location worker, Bill Wendel, captured an image of the damage below.
