CANAL WINCHESTER, Ohio - Beer and luxury: A new Columbus area hotel is about to role these two pleasures all into one.
Scotland-based company BrewDog is set to open "the world first beer hotel where you can wake up inside a brewery" at its facility in Canal Winchester. The modern marvel features 32 rooms (including eight deluxe suites), a work out room, a lobby bar with games and activities, a marketplace for food, and views throughout of the working beer manufacturing equipment. Each room also features a mini-fridge filled with specially-selected brews.
The hotel is scheduled to open this coming Monday, Aug. 27, with rooms starting at $162 per night. If you don't want to stay the night, you can still check out the massive beer museum.
BrewDog has grown since 2007 to over 1,000 employees, 70,000 investors, and 46 bars around the world. Their investors are known as "equity punks" and can donate online.
