AKRON, Ohio — WKYC Studios Anchor and Reporter Isabel Lawrence was the “Master of Shopping“ at the Akron Children’s Hospital Toy Drive on Thursday, November 3. Volunteer shoppers visited the Target in Fairlawn and filled their carts with gifts.

“It’s awesome being here; I love having my cousin here with me today that we are dedicating this to her and her family,” said Bobby Ina, the event’s organizer. Jennifer Adamczyk, Ina’s cousin, was once a hospital family before losing her daughter, Savannah Rose.

“I am so proud of Bobby and everything that he is doing, and it means so much to us,” said Adamczyk. “And I know how much the families really appreciate this.”

15 volunteers participated in the toy drive. And over $12,000 was spent on gifts. And, if anyone is still interested in donating gifts to Akron Children’s Hospital, they can ship gifts to the attention of Volunteer Services – Toy Drive at One Perkins Square, Akron OH 44308.
