CLEVELAND — 3News Anchor and Executive Editor Russ Mitchell hosted the 19th Annual Walk, Rock and Run Awards ceremony on Tuesday, June 29. The online ceremony presented by The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio recognized the top individual fundraiser and top workplace fundraising team, who participated in this year’s Walk, Rock and Run. The Walk, Rock and Run is a one or three mile walk and 5K run that raises funds for diversity programming and education for local youth.
The top individual fundraising prize was awarded to Stephanie Hampson, Vice President Strategic Account Sales at Medical Mutual. She raised $2,146. Her prize included a private tour of The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, a gift bag and a chance to be a DJ for a day at the museum. Greg Harris, President & CEO of The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame presented the prize to Stephanie.
“I am very much looking forward to it. This is a great opportunity and something that is near and dear to my heart. Be ready for all sorts of music. I like rap and I like classic rock so be ready,” said Stephanie Hampson during the ceremony.
Along with Stephanie Hampson, Dominion Energy employees were also honored. They won the Traveling Workplace Trophy. The group raised $13,450.

In Dominion Energy we have a saying: action speak louder and that is so true of The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio – your engagement during these times but it also speaks to our team,” said Jim Eck, Board Director for The Diversity Center, VP & General Manager OH &WV Distribution for Dominion Energy.
