Fairview Park restaurants donate meals to those in need

The event takes place this Saturday from 3-5 p.m. in the Gunselman’s parking lot.

FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio — Local restaurants in Fairview Park are stepping up and helping local families during this time of crisis.

This Saturday, to go meals go will be available on a first come, first served basis for people who need them. Restaurants like Gunsleman's Tavern, Dominic's Santos, and Sauced! Wood Fired Pizza will be working with the Fairview Park Hunger Center in preparing pasta dinners for 500 people.

The event takes place this Saturday from 3-5 p.m. in the Gunselman’s parking lot. The restaurant address is 21490 Lorain Road in Fairview Park. Please enter the parking lot off West 215th Street. 

The meals will be given out with no person to person contact; volunteers will put the food directly in the person’s trunk. Fairview Park Mayor Patrick Cooney along with State Rep. David Greenspan will also lend a helping hand by delivering meals to the elderly who are not able to leave their homes.
