CLEVELAND — The Greater Cleveland Food Bank has helped feed more than 400,000 people during this past year. On Thursday, they will continue to help those in need by holding their weekly food distribution event at the Cleveland Muni Lot.

Organizers say they expect this drive-thru distribution event to be one of the largest of the year. Staff members who work for legislators representing the areas serviced by the Cleveland Food Bank along with members of the Ohio National guard will be on hand to help distribute the food and direct traffic.

The distribution will run from 2- p.m. on Thursday. Those in need are encouraged to pre-register on the food bank's website.

Along with getting food into the hands that need it, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank has released a list of places where people in need can go and get a hot meal during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
