2 shot outside of Parma Heights bar, officials investigating

Police say both victims are in stable condition.

Parma Heights Police are investigating today after an overnight shooting outside of a local nightclub sent two to the hospital. 

According to officials, the incident happened around 2 a.m. Saturday after the owners of Arabica Coffee House and Hookah Bar called police hoping to assist with dispersing the crowd outside of the venue following the bar's closure.

Upon arrival, officers heard shots near the rear of the establishment's property. Police took three men into custody for this incident. While arresting the three males, officers also heard shots fired near the front of the property. 

At the front of the building, police found a 25-year-old female shot in the neck, as well as a 22-year-old male shot in the stomach. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital and are reportedly in stable condition following the shooting. 

Police believe that there were three parties involved in the shooting, and so far, officials have arrested one man in connection.

All parties involved in both shootings were from Cleveland, according to police. 

The matter remains under investigation at this time.
