Police chase ends in three-car crash in Bratenahl

Police spotted a car driving recklessly near E.131st and Shaw Avenue, Monday afternoon.

One person was arrested after a police pursuit ended in a three-car crash Monday afternoon.

According to the East Cleveland Police Department, shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday, officers saw a car driving recklessly near East 131st Street and Shaw Avenue. When officers attempted to stop the car, police say the driver fled causing a three-car accident near Eddy Road and I-90 in Bratenahl.

An East Cleveland Police K-9 was used to apprehend the 19-year-old suspect driver.

Police say a loaded gun was also recovered at the scene.

No injuries are being reported.
