CANTON, Ohio — Officials are investigating after a woman's body was found outside in Stark County on Wednesday.
The Stark County Sheriff's Office says that just before 4 p.m., they were called to the 3700 block of Georgetown Road Northeast in Canton Township after a passerby discovered a body in an abandoned lot nearby.
Upon arriving at the scene, officials located a deceased woman with reddish-brown hair, who they believe is in her mid-30s.
At this time, the cause of death is unknown and remains under investigation.
