HARTVILLE, Ohio -- A 17-year-old Hartville boy is dead following a weekend accident with an ATV.
Authorities say Kyle Donaldson was riding as a passenger when he fell off the ATV in the 11000 block of El Dorado Circle NE around 7:51 p.m. Friday.
Kyle’s head struck the roadway, and he was not wearing a helmet at the time, according to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
Kyle was taken to Mercy Medical Center before being flown to Akron Children’s Hospital where he later died on Saturday.
A 30-year-old Hartville man was cited for operating the ATV on a roadway.
The accident remains under investigation.
