STARK COUNTY, Ohio — Investigators in Stark County are continuing to probe into the death of Aiden Jewel, whose body was found in a Marlboro Township pond on Tuesday.

Preliminary autopsy results show that there were no visible signs of trauma externally or internally on Jewel's body. Water was present in the lungs and stomach which indicates that he drowned.

Stark County Coroner Anthony Bertin will make the final ruling.

Jewel was at a party last Saturday night when he became "impaired," and had not been seen since around 2 a.m. Sunday. The party apparently took place at a house near New Baltimore Ice Cream.

Officers continue to interview and take statements from those who were at the party. Stark County Prosecutors will work with the Marlboro Township Police to determine who will be charged for the underage consumption and illicit drug use at the party.
