Uniontown — Stark County officials have arrested three teens in connection with the vandalism of a local church.

Sheriff's deputies got a call last Friday evening about kids going in and out of the Greentown Church of God. When they got there, however, they found chocolate syrup and spray paint all over the walls inside the church.

Several crude images were found on the walls and pews, including graffiti of male genitalia and "666." The incident occurred around 5 p.m.

While witnesses said they saw about 20 kids going into the church without permission, authorities were only able to catch up with three of the suspects. They say one teen boy admitted to breaking into the church and spray painting the inside, adding that he was "going to have a party" there and alerted friends on Snapchat.

All of the suspects taken into custody are under the age of 18. Officials have not released information on possible charges.
