20-year-old man shot in Panera Bread parking lot, Summit County Sherriff's office searching for suspect

The shooting took place on Golden Link Boulevard in Northfield Center Township.

The Summit County Sheriff's office is seeking the public's help identifying the suspect wanted in the shooting of a man Wednesday night. 

Police responded to Golden Link Boulevard in Northfield Center Township for reports of a shooting in the parking lot. 

At the scene, officials found a 20-year-old man suffering a multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was involved in a verbal altercation with a woman in the parking lot when they were approached by another man with a gun. The two men then became involved in a physical altercation, resulting in several shots being fired. 

The victim was taken to Cleveland MetroHealth Hospital by the Macedonia Fire Department. There is no word on his condition at this time. 

The suspect, who fired the shots, fled the scene in a dark colored vehicle.
