GREEN, Ohio — Firemedics from the Green Fire Department are being saluted for their work in reviving a pair of dogs rescued from a Springfield Township home that caught on fire on Friday.

According to a Facebook post by the Green Fire Department, the owners of the canines were not home at the time of the blaze.

The pups are expected to make a full recovery.

"Thankful for Green Firemedics and their oath to protect and serve all in our community, including our four-legged pups," the department wrote on its post.
