The largest fireworks showroom permitted in the state of Ohio is set to open in Summit County later this year.

SVN Summit Commercial Real Estate Advisors announced on Tuesday that Phantom Fireworks signed a lease for a 12,750-square-foot property on 80 Brookmont Road in Montrose.

"We're happy to have the opportunity here in Montrose,” said Bruce J. Zoldan, Phantom Fireworks President and CEO. “The community has been wonderful to us and we look forward to becoming an active member of the Montrose family.”

Due to the pandemic, the facility previously home to Laser Quest had been vacant for six months. But with the new lease, it will now house the fireworks distributor.

According to a press release announcing the lease signing, Phantom Fireworks plans to use 7,500-square-foot of the space to create the "Phantom showroom."

The showroom will have Phantom's full line of quality Phantom Brand of consumer fireworks as well as Wolf Pack, Phantom's Grucci Collection, Silver Salute, and non-Phantom brands such as Brothers Pyrotechnics, Black Cat, Pyro Planet, and more.

An official opening day has not yet been announced.
