According to a police source a suspect is in custody, Thursday, for causing the fire at the Cornus Hill Firestone mansion in Fairlawn.
Last week, the fire was ruled arson and $5,000 reward was issued for information leading to an arrest and conviction for the blaze.
According to the source, the suspect turned themselves in this afternoon.
The fire broke out at the mansion on Chamberlain Road Friday, January 13.
Several departments responded to the scene and the fire was under control by midnight.
Officials said one-third of the home was completely destroyed. The home has been vacant for the last five or six years.
