It's the Memorial Day weekend and most communities have their own parades.
Most are family friendly. Check out some of the activities below.
What: The event takes place at the Garfield Memorial and includes a parade and a Sousa band concert. You should bring your lawn chairs and a picnic!

What: The Chagrin Valley Jaycees present their 61st annual Blossom Time. This year's theme is "Welcome to the Jungle." There are carnival rides, hot air balloon launches and races, a Thursday night "Balloon Glow" at Chagrin Falls High School, a Sunday walk and fitness run and a Sunday 2 p.m. parade along East Washington Street.

What: Free pancake breakfast 7-9 a.m. at Fire Station No. 1 at 4200 Massillon Road (donations accepted for a local charity. The 10 a.m. parade follows with a ceremony at noon at Veterans Memorial Park, followed by the annual car show and community picnic from 12:30 p.m to 3 p.m.

What: For the 19th year, the best ribs in the country! Gate admission includes all live entertainment.

What: Annual ride to remember and honor firefighters
Where: Starts in downtown Cleveland at the Firefighters' Memorial and ends at South East Harley Davidson at 23105 Aurora Road in Bedford Heights.
When: Starts at 8 a.m. Sunday May 28 at the Firefighters' Memorial in Cleveland
What: FREE admission to the HOF for all active military, veterans and first responders with valid ID/Badge
Where: Pro Football Hall of Fame at 2121 George Halas Drive NW in Canton

What: University Circle and Wade Oval are home to museums, restaurants and parks. Stroll among the many paths in and around world-famous museums.
Where: Main Visitor & Circle Living Center at 11330 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What: The Cleveland Indians are playing at home this Memorial Day weekend!
