Although nobody hit the $685 million jackpot in the Mega Millions lottery drawing for Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, one Ohioan is waking up as a millionaire after matching five numbers.
The winning $1 million ticket was sold in North Olmsted at Giant Eagle.
The Ohio Lottery says there were thousands of different winning tickets sold in the state with varying prizes as listed below.....

$30,000 prize: 1 winner
$10,000 prize: 2 winners
$1,500 prize: 17 winners
$600 prize: 42 winners
$500 prize: 43 winners
$200 prize: 131 winners
$30 prize: 1,873 winners
$12 prize: 6,406 winners
$10 prize: 5,266 winners
$6 prize: 15,503 winners
$4 prize: 18,515 winners
$2 prize: 44,168 winners
The winning numbers in the Friday night drawing are 1, 3, 6, 44, 51 and Mega Ball 7. The Megaplier option was 3x.
The Mega Millions jackpot now grows to an estimated $785 million, which features a cash option worth $395 million. The next drawing will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 11 p.m.
Mega Millions lottery officials say the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 302,575,350. The odds of hitting a $1 million winning ticket are listed at one in 12,607,306.
