CLEVELAND — Although nobody hit the $420 million jackpot in the latest Powerball drawing that was held Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, the Ohio Lottery says there are still thousands of people taking home smaller amounts of prize money.
Those smaller prizes sold in Ohio are listed as follows:
- $50,000 prize: 2 winners
- $500 prize: 10 winners
- $100 prize: 27 winners
- $35 prize: 371 winners
- $20 prize: 4,485 winners
- $7 prize: 906 winners
- $4 prize: 11,784 winners
The lucky numbers in the drawing from Wednesday night are 14, 30, 41, 42, 59 with Powerball 6. The Power Play option is 5x.
The jackpot now grows to $454 million with a cash option worth $232.6 million for the next Powerball drawing on Saturday, Oct. 15.
Powerball lottery officials say the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 292,201,338.00, which is slightly better than the Mega Millions odds of one in 302,575,350. The odds of hitting a $1 million winning ticket in Powerball, meanwhile, are one in 11,688,053.52.
Speaking of Mega Millions, its jackpot has now grown to $494 million.
