Police say a suspect is in custody after a Euclid teen was shot and killed late Saturday night on Cleveland's east side.

The incident occurred near East 131st St. and Crennell Ave. around 11:40 p.m. on the night of Apr. 13. According to authorities, 19-year-old Levar Briggs was found unresponsive in his Honda Pilot having been shot in the head. A second 17-year-old victim was also located with a gunshot wound to his foot. Both victims were taken to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

A 21-year-old man (who has not yet been identified by officials) was arrested in connection with the shooting, and it is believed he may have fired the shots from an SUV he was driving. Briggs later died from his injuries at the hospital.

The shooting remains under investigation.
