A car crashed into and snapped a utility pole on Cleveland's east side Saturday evening.

The crash occurred near the 1100 block of South Belvoir Blvd. Police investigating the crash say there were no skid marks on the road, leading them to believe the driver did not attempt to stop prior to the crash.

The crash's impact knocked down the power line.
