In 2008, Betsy became Cleveland's first female chief meteorologist. In January of 2020, she teamed up with Jay Crawford to debut "What's New," a newscast with a mix of personality and credibility like no other. Now at 4 p.m. daily, Jay and Betsy guide those watching on-air and online through the day's news and the latest happenings.

Betsy was born and raised right here in Northeast Ohio, graduating from Copley High School before moving on to get her journalism degree at Bowling Green State University.

In the interview, Betsy explains what it is like to work with her co-anchor Jay Crawford. She also showed off some TV magic with the green screen.

“3 Questions” can be seen on “What’s New” at 4pm on Fridays. The interviews are recorded at the Kaulig Media Lab at the I Promise School. The project is a partnership between Kaulig Companies, LeBron James Family Foundation & WKYC Studios.
