CLEVELAND — Akron Mayor Daniel Horrigan is the first guest of a new project called “3 Questions from the I Promise School." Students gain on-the-job experience in journalism and media careers as they research and interview area change-makers, leaders and influencers.
Mayor Horrigan tells the I Promise News Team what he wanted to be when he grew up. What the city is doing to provide activities for kids and why he believes Akron rocks.
“3 Questions” can be seen on “What’s New” at 5 p.m. on Fridays. The interviews are recorded at the Kaulig Media Lab at the I Promise School. The project is a partnership between Kaulig Companies, LeBron James Family Foundation & WKYC Studios.
