World-famous Slyman's serves thousands on St. Paddy's Day in Cleveland

Keeping the tradition going!

CLEVELAND — We spent Sunday morning at Cleveland's corned-beef treasure, Slyman's Deli. They've been prepping for St. Paddy's Day for two weeks, taking orders, for their world-famous corned beef sandwiches.

Chefs came in Sunday at 3 a.m., then, a little while later, all hands on deck with the Slyman's as the clock ticked near the opening.

Owner Freddy Slyman says on average, the restaurant franchise serves over a thousand or more pounds of their mouth-watering corned beef each year on St. Patrick's Day.

Today was no exception. We had a sandwich-making lesson and watched the line start to build up around 7 a.m. It was a lot of fun!
