WATCH | Urban Meyer gives fiery fist pump after Ohio State lands nation's No. 1 offensive tackle

The Buckeyes currently lay claim to the nation's second-ranked 2018 recruiting class.

Laying claim to the nation's second-ranked 2018 recruiting class, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer has plenty to be excited about on this National Signing Day.

One moment, however, appears to have stood out from all the rest -- and it just so happened to be captured on film. After 5-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere committed to the Buckeyes on Wednesday morning, Meyer issued a fiery fist pump in a moment caught by an ESPN U camera crew.

The top-ranked offensive tackle and the nation's No. 7 overall player in the 2018 class, Petit-Frere chose Ohio State over Alabama, Florida and Michigan. The 6-foot-6, 272-pound offensive lineman will arrive in Columbus by way of Tampa, Fla., after having been recruited by Buckeyes defensive coordinator -- and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach -- Greg Schiano.

After putting the finishing touches on what ultimately wound up being a 26-player class, Meyer met with reporters and proceeded to praise his newly signed 5-star tackle.

"Everybody in the country is looking for the tall, athletic elongated guys that can bend and they're hard to find," Meyer said. "That's why they're paid so well in the NFL because those body types are hard, hard to find. And you throw a 3.8 GPA on top of that, a very intelligent guy, a very mature guy, and he's a great finish to that class."

Not that Meyer needed to say it. The video captured by ESPN U spoke a thousand words.
