For the second time this season, WKYC.com's High School Football Game of the Week will be in Lorain County for a Southwestern Conference showdown, this time as the Berea-Midpark Titans take on the Amherst Steele Comets.
The matchup beat out its two competitors handily, taking home more than 50 percent of the vote. Both teams come in with only one combined loss on the year (Berea-Midpark to Strongsville in Week 1) and are capable of scoring a lot of points. Titans quarterback Trevor Bycznski may also be the best quarterback in Northeast Ohio, and has already committed to play at Rice next year.
WKYC's Dave "Dino" DeNatale and Matt Florjancic will call the game live Friday night via audio stream, with coverage starting at 6:55 p.m. on WKYC.com, the WKYC mobile app, and the WKYC Facebook page. In addition, we will also have full video highlights on our 11 o'clock newscast!
