CLEVELAND — The Mentor Cardinals and Euclid Panthers are both heading to the Division I Sweet 16.
Mentor downed Brush at Euclid High School, 77-73, behind 30 points from junior Luke Floriea. The Cardinals will battle Green next Wednesday at the Wolstein Center at 6:15 p.m.
Euclid edged Shaker Heights at Solon High School, 50-47, to win its first district title since 1995. The Panthers will take on St. Edward next Wednesday at the Wolstein Center at 8:00 p.m.
